Beautiful setting, loved our sweet river front cabin #42. The jaccuzi tub for two was perfect. Plenty of towels, robes for each of us, didn't need to ask for anything. The double shower head was real nice. Ample charging on night stands and nice touch for step stool for high standing bed. Private porch with Adirondack chairs, table, and citronella pail with matches was super nice, overlooking stream. Staff were friendly and professional. Wonderful happy hour selection of complimentary appetizers. Nice selection of wine for purchase. Nice touch on complimentary smores to enjoy by the fire pit and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and cold milk (YUM). Breakfast was bountiful and a nice selection of items for all ages. Parking was easy. Luggage cart was nice to have to transport luggage. Layout of property is nicely done and so peaceful. Nice Adirondack chairs and tables, picnic tables, waterfall pond. Very well lit at night. Nice walk along property and the rogue river, OH my goodness, just stunning 😍. I want to come back! I see this as a nice place for a reunion, anniversary, honeymoon, anything. Just a really nice place! July 2023.

Breakfast was thorough including biscuits and gravy, granola, cheerios, scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon and potatoes. No “breakfast to order”. Rogue roasters coffee and amazing selection of tea, available all the time. Great comfortable public space in the lodge that is very reminiscent of the 1930’s. S’mores are available in the evenings in single servings that you can then make over the fire pit. Evening appetizers are served with an open (pay) bar with beer and wine. Apps include something warm, hummus, vegetables, crackers, fruit. Large outdoor deck with lovely views over the yard (no river views). Property is lovely and well cared for with seating around the area. We had room 3 and 5. 5 is accessed from outside on the second story, three from the inside. Rooms are super comfortable, very clean, rogue roaster coffee for the keurig, water bottles. It would be so nice to have half and half for the room coffee (but it is available downstairs). Air con worked great. Staff was super friendly.

Charming, folksy, historical ambience, two minutes walk to the river with a mile and a half trail along side the scenic Rogue. Warm and welcoming staff of friendly, interesting people. They went out of their way to make me comfortable, even bringing up a mini fridge to my room which wasn't normally offered in that room, and bringing a microwave to my sisters room which also wasn't normally offered in that room. They feed you a lot--a full breakfast, appetizers at 4:30 which you could practically make dinner out of, fresh cookies out of the oven at 7:30 every night. Games to play available in the large and homey family room/lobby, with a big fireplace. Just such a lovely view out of the dining room. You look out into the the huge lawn and the tall trees and the cabins below. Also it's located with an easy driving distance to many fun hikes and other special attractions of the area.

I have stayed at this property numerous times and whenever my family and I are going through grants.Pass with make a point to stay overnight to stay at this beautiful property. The location is secluded and quiet, which way is especially like. See main cabin with the kitchen and living here and dining is warm and inviting. And there's always something fun going on with food and drink tastings. We especially always enjoy the S'mores kits available to enjoy around the fire. If you are ever ingrants , pass , be sure to stay here.

I loved the historic hotel and the grounds were lovely. The complimentary happy hour was generous, and the woman who prepared the food was so friendly and delightful. The campfire and s'mores was a great touch. The young woman at check in was a bit gruff and unhelpful as she required me to book online at the front desk and seemed annoyed by my presence even though there were few guests in the hotel. Overall, I think the property and lodge are well worth visiting.
